In this course, Will and Zeynab will cover insights into the latest tools as well as practical tips on how to deal with AI-powered decision-making systems. They will examine how the use of artificial intelligence, with a specific emphasis on automated-decision making systems, and how it impacts the submission and evaluation of applications to IRCC. They will walk through how IRCC is currently using AI and automated-decision making\/support systems, the litigation that this has created, and broader issues in the intersection of administrative law and the use of AI systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Will and Zeynab will look at what IRCC may likely do in the future before concluding to look at how our own practice, on the ground, may need to shift alongside technological changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
