Vancouver/Burnaby, British Columbia – [11 March 2025] – Will Tao has been recognized as one of Canada’s Leading Legal Practitioners in the 2025 Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. This prestigious accolade is the result of an extensive peer-review process that identifies top legal professionals across the country.

“Today, I think of immigration law as the perfect all encompassing practice. I am a classic ‘solicitigator.’ I do solicitors work (applications) informed by my litigation (reconsideration/judicial reviews/appeals) work and vice-versa. Immigration law is very administrative in nature so I believe my ability to navigate bureaucracies and the humans behind the process also comes in handy. I get to interact on a daily basis with so many beautiful and flawed human beings and listen to so many different stories and process them. It’s an incredible way to go through life and I honestly foresee myself doing this work for a long time.” Will Tao

For over three decades, the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory has conducted an annual survey to highlight outstanding lawyers and firms. Rankings are determined through recommendations from law firm leaders and industry peers, acknowledging those who demonstrate excellence, leadership, and influence in their respective fields.

This distinction reflects Will Tao’s dedication to delivering exceptional legal services and advancing the profession through expertise and commitment.
