New Alternatives to Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) Requirements for Super Visas

As of March 31, 2026, hosts will be able to show that they meet the MNI requirement through two alternative ways: 1) Hosts can show they meet or exceed the MNI in one of two taxation years before the time of application and 2) The visiting parent or grandparent’s income can be added to the host’s income to cover any shortfall.
