Our principal lawyer, Will Tao, will represent the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) in an important appearance before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration.
On Monday, December 2, 2024, from 16:30 to 17:30 EST, Will will directly address Members of Parliament (MPs) who influence Canadian immigration laws and policies. He will speak on recent policy reforms, particularly those that could result in up to 70,000 students having to leave Canada in 2024 and 2025. This is a critical moment to ensure that the voices of international students and immigration practitioners are heard and considered in shaping fair and effective policies.
